I lost my insurance right after this colonoscopy and did not have treatment for some time. I switched insurance plans and had a colonoscopy 2 years ago and was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis but it was not a typical presentation (no active ulceration, mild inflammation, UC antibodies present). I was diagnosed with IBS years ago and was told that I don’t actually have IBS (my symptoms aligned with IBS-D, Ulcerative Colitis, and Crohn’s disease but my insurance denied me a colonoscopy for over 7 years) so they were going to label my symptoms as IBS since they didn’t know exactly what was going on. I’ve had these symptoms for almost 12 years now. But i read here in reddit alot ppl with yellow stools with IBS for more than 5 to 10 years and that is very strange. I burp and bloat alot, the noises in my stomach are very loud and still they say its IBS, anxity and panic attacks, wich i do have. Constant fear of having cancer and that im in my last days. They all say anxiety, Sinus (i have since 6), and IBS. Docs says its nothing, i have been in many, more than 6. Sometimes when i wake up in the morning since 10th november i can spit a little bit of blood in the saliva, and this happens only when i wake up and specialy if i eat and go direct to sleep. So yeah i dont know what i have neither i can face a Colonoscopy cause im terrified to do it. I had endoscopy 8 years ago and had esophagitis reflux grade A, i did blood samples 3 weeks ago and stools samples and also eco to abdomen, with no problem in the liver, pancreas or bladder. Btw i drink alot of water, most of the time im constipated but loose stools can ocur many times also. Its incapacitating to a point, but we have to try to have a "normal" life i guess. But if i eat now some choco cookies it will be almost black, if i eat cheese it is yellow, if i eat chicken and rice its brow to yellow, so yeah really dont know what to say or what to do. But yeah dont know what to say about the yellow poop. Not to be worried and i need to fix my anxiety since im very anxious and hypocondriac. I have been diagnosed with IBS spectrum, not full IBS, at least is what my GI said. Same here, not always but many times for the last 1Y8m.
